Is Coffee the new Fruits and Vegetables?

While coffee has had its share of negatives in the past, new studies are now finding that your daily java actually offers a lot of positive health benefits.

According to Stacey Beeson, R.D., a wellness dietician at St.Luke’s Boise Medical Centre in the U.S., “Coffee comes from plants, which have helpful phytochemicals that act as antioxidants. “Some studies indicate coffee drinkers have a lower risk of developing type II diabetes.

Gordon Ramsay’s coffee and chocolate mousse cups

This easy but fabulous recipe is from Gordon Ramsay’s Sunday Lunch.
“It’s a delicious, no-bake mocha desert that uses mascarpone rather than eggs as a base for the mouse.”

Do make the espresso strong – the coffee flavour needs to hold up against the chocolate.

Sprada's Holiday Closure Times

Sprada will be closing from Friday 18th December 2009 and re-opens on Monday 04th January 2010.

Last orders for delivery need to reach us by no later than 14th December 2009 to ensure delivery before 18th December 2009.
