Competitions

In conjunction with this newsletter we will be launching our first Sprada competition. A lucky subscriber will have the opportunity of winning one of 6 fantastic prizes over the next 6 months. New Product: Champion's Choice Blend Coffee

Our South African National Barista Champion, who represented South Africa at the World Championships in Atlanta 2009, created the Champion’s Choice blend. He used this blend during the course of the competition with great acclaim.

The Champion’s Choice is a dark roast, 100% Arabica with a Brazilian and African coffee blend. Well suited for espressos and cappuccinos.

Complex flavours with overlapping textures of sweet, bitter, thick, spicy, chocolaty, creamy and bursting with smoky pungent aromas. Well balanced acidity, smooth and full-bodied

Sprada and BICCCS

Sprada is fortunate to be associated with BICCCS, a brainchild of Fortunato of Ritrovo, Pretoria. Our association started a few years ago when Forti became one of our premier agents in Gauteng.

Our working relationship has gone from strength to strength and has now taken a further leap forward with our participation in his fabulous new innovation BICCCS (Bread, Ice cream, Cake, Croissants, Coffee and Sandwiches).

Coffee Martini

Iced, shaken, straight up or on the rocks, the Coffee Martini is here to stay. Mixologists may have thought the Coffee Martini was a passing trend, but the smooth mix of fresh brewed espresso with vodka and dry vermouth is going to stick around.

Of course there are variations – such as the addition of Bailey’s Irish Cream, Frangelico, Kahlúa or Tia Maria. Vanilla ice cream, tiramisu syrup or flavoured vodka also adds a little moxie to this intoxicating drink.

Sprada's Holiday Closure Times

As the Christmas Season draws nearer, we would like to inform you of Sprada’s Annual Holiday closure. This will assist you and Sprada in your stock planning over the festive season and holidays.
Sprada will be closing from Friday 18th December 2009 and re-opens on Monday 04th January 2010.

Last orders for delivery need to reach us by no later than 14th December 2009 to ensure delivery before 18th December 2009.

Please place your orders timeously to avoid disappointment and an out of stock situation.
